榴莲 / 椰子 / 黄梨

Three local fruits—durian (榴莲), coconut (椰子), and pineapple (黄梨)—are symbolically represented through their corresponding name in Chinese characters. Each character is reimagined with shapes and colours that evoke the unique textures and material qualities of the fruit’s skin.

Crafted entirely from paper using traditional paper-cutting techniques, the posters avoid literal depiction. Instead, they distill the tactile essence and vibrant character of each fruit into a minimal, abstract expression rooted in both cultural and material sensitivity.
