Design Camp Nara: Baaku
Rebranding proposal for a family-run poultry farm in Nara Prefecture, Japan, developed during the Design Camp Nara residency organised by DOOR to Asia.

The visual identity takes inspiration from the farm’s livestock, forming the basis of a cohesive design system applied across all brand touchpoints—including posters, packaging, stationery, and the website. The identity balances simplicity with warmth, reflecting the farm’s honest and hands-on approach to agriculture.

To extend the brand beyond visuals, a community engagement initiative was proposed, rooted in the farm’s familial business model and close consumer relationships. This program reinforces values of authenticity, transparency, and trust—positioning the brand as both deeply local and meaningfully connected to its audience.
