Nanyang Porcelain is a new collaborative porcelain label by Supermama, a local gallery store that focuses on producing original Singapore design with Japanese craftmanship. We were engaged to conceptualise and design the new label identity.

Synopsis

While interpreting the label identity in broader cultural and geographical contexts, we intensify its narrative association by constructing original Chinese logograms — 南洋 in the silhouette form of a porcelain bowl and a vase.
