'Eating Together — The Design of Sharing Food in a Connected World' is a research project that examines cultures, objects and spaces that reflect upon how we share food as consumers by writers Justin Zhuang and Sheere Ng of In Plain Words. The project produces an essay book, a postcard collection, and an exhibition held in conjunction with Foodcine.ma.
Idea Taking cue from the authors as writer themselves, we conceptualised the project identity typographically by reappropriating punctuations used in language as conceptual symbols of various means of food sharing between consumers.
Postcards The postcards is a collection of well-known local food in their respective common packaging. we repurposed the popular take-away plastic bags for coffee shop drinks as the postcards packaging, to be both culturally relevant and cost-effective.
